JHI Asia-Pacific Conference to Focus on Building Business and Organizational Leadership

July 7, 2010 (Princeton Junction, NJ): JHI, a global network of highly-regarded independent accountancy, business advisor and financial consultancy firms, will hold its Asia–Pacific Regional Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) July 10-14, 2010 at the Sofitel Plaza Hanoi in Hanoi, Vietnam. A portion of the Conference will also take place aboard the Star Victory Cruise ship, which will sail across the Halong Bay.

This year’s Conference will help attendees learn the tools and knowledge they need to help their businesses thrive and continue to position themselves as leaders in their specialized areas. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other professionals in the Asia-Pacific Region and participate in an array of educational sessions and workshops presented by stakeholders throughout the accounting industry. International Executive Committee (IEC) Chairman, Mark Tenzer will attend the Conference.

Sandra Cowan will help attendees create a road map for their future and provide them with the knowledge and skills needed to help them excel in their current positions during her session at the event. Cowan is an executive coach with experience in a wide range of areas including strategic high performance coaching, strategic planning, communications and public relations. She previously served as the General Manager of Corporate Affairs at Pioneer Electronics Australia and as a Journalist at Intermedia Group.

Consultant, senior executive and educator, Allan Preiss will demonstrate how well led organizations eventually become thriving and sustainable businesses during his session at the event. Allan has extensive strategic and organizational change management experience. He has been involved in establishing a Melbourne office for Hewitt Associates, a global human resource consulting company based in Chicago and consulted to blue chip Australian organizations such as Coles Myer, BHP Billiton and Fosters.

Outside of the Conference, attendees will be able to participate in a variety of activities including a sightseeing tour from Hanoi to Halong City, a visit to the Cua Van floating village, and trekking and swimming at Soi Sim Island. Guests will also experience a day-trip boat cruise to the bay’s most untouched areas as well as a visit to Sung Sot Grotto.
