JHI Turns to Veteran Management and Marketing Firm for International Growth Initiative
January 7, 2010 (PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ): As members emerge from a global recession, JHI, a global network of highly-regarded independent accountancy, business advisor and financial consultancy firms, will transition to a more cohesive and centralized international operation under the management of CMA Association Management (CMA) located in Princeton Junction, NJ, USA, as of January 4, 2010.
CMA will manage day-to-day operations of the association, as well as provide event coordination and strategic marketing initiatives. Overall, CMA will work with JHI’s International Executive Committee (IEC) to help increase awareness of the association to potential members globally, as well as create business opportunities for members under a unified brand.
“The IEC has been particularly impressed with CMA’s strengths in branding,” said Mark Tenzer, chairman of the JHI International Executive Committee. “We hope that members will appreciate the new angle that CMA will bring and the IEC is looking forward to working with CMA on JHI’s strategic development.”
After a rigorous search process in the summer and fall of 2009, the IEC selected CMA due to their ability to provide strategic membership growth programs on an international scale and will utilize their proprietary strategic marketing process, MarketectureTM, to determine ways to grow membership and raise the profile of the association among key audiences. The duties of the JHI management team include membership services, financial management, sponsor and exhibitor recruitment, public relations and other various communications programs.
“CMA is well-suited to accommodate JHI’s changing needs,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, President and CEO of CMA. “What JHI is currently looking to achieve in terms of its strategic development is absolutely critical—it’s clear that the organisation needs to create a global brand to be able to compete with other global brands, and this is where I think CMA can really make a difference.”
JHI exists to enhance the ability of member firms and their clients to drive business locally and internationally through a variety of distinctive programs and services. More information is available at www.jhi.com.
