JHI announces 2008–2009 Region of the Americas Executive

The new Executive Committee was appointed earlier this month during the Annual General Meeting at the Region of the Americas Annual Conference in Québec City, QC, Canada. The 70 attendees at the conference explored a variety of topics, including cross-border business, human resources issues, commercial lending and new risk assessment auditing standards.

Asia-Pacific and International EAxecutives

In other JHI business, the new International and Asia-Pacific Regional Executive Committees will be appointed during the next few months. The Asia-Pacific Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting will take place July 23–26 on the Gold Coast of Australia. Member firms from around the world will gather in Miami, FL for the 2008 International Conference and Annual General Meeting October 29 to November 1. The 2008–2009 European Regional Executive Committee was appointed in May.
