Managing Partner Summit Launching in 2006 in Denver, Colorado, USA

JHI is pleased to announce that we are launching the first-ever JHI Managing Partner Summit this year. Taking place in Denver, Colorado, USA, from September 17 to 19, 2006, the Summit will act as a platform for managing partners to share their ideas, concerns and experience at the strategic firm management level.

With a mandate to ensure sharing of strategy at the senior management level, the 2006 JHI Managing Partner Summit is led by Michael McDowell of McCrory & McDowell LLC (Co-Chair of the Practice Management Special Interest Group) and Jacob León (Chair of the Region of the Americas). We are excited to announce that Arthur Bowman, a well-known researcher, author and pundit in the accounting world, has agreed to work with us to produce original research and create a customized program for our Managing Partners. Publisher of the electronic accounting news update, Bowman FirstAlert, Art possesses an extensive network and knowledge background in the industry. Art is seeking your input in what you want to see at the Summit. This year’s Summit will take place at the same time and place as the Information Technology Special Interest Group (IT SIG) Conference. Managing partners attending the Summit will have networking occasions with the IT SIG Conference participants, while spending most of their time focusing on the professional development sessions specifically designed for managing partners, including two days of expert presentations, roundtable discussions, breakout sessions and best practice summaries, with opportunities for in-depth, small group and one-on-one discussions.
