  • Promotes the sharing of best practices, knowledge and experience.

What benefits does JHI University offer? No one knows better than the students who attended the first session. Here’s how Bianca Moccia of KAF Financial Group in Braintree, MA, described her experience at the inaugural JHI University session in Houston, TX.

"As a first-year associate I did not know what to expect from a week-long training seminar. I had a vision before we arrived of an instructor teaching us what I learned in my auditing class in college, textbook definitions and theories. Even though it was Level One training, I still thought that I would be the only one without experience. To my surprise, just about everyone was on the same page. I was very impressed with the instructor and the materials given out. Cindy Kotoor, the AuditWatch instructor, made participation easy with fun games and activities to help us understand the concepts. The handouts will be useful in the office. I was able to meet and interact with other first-year staffers who had also just graduated college at an undergraduate level. A number of people in the class were involved in tax, but wanted a basic understanding of auditing. No matter what everyone’s situation was, we all had one thing in common and that was that we wanted to learn."
