Maxim has been successfully advising his clients for more than 15 years. His consulting and taxation experience covers a wide range of industries including oil, gas, machine building, real estate, food companies, wholesale, retail traders, mass media and other companies.

Maxim specializes in projects dealing both with the domestic and foreign partners within the territory of Russia and abroad. Maxim is an expert in developing tax planning schemes and overseeing their implementation, including schemes launched in joint ventures and businesses with 100% foreign investments.

Maxim is the Senior Partner and Founding Director of ALRUD. He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and speaks Russian and English. In 1996, he was awarded the independent tax certificate.

In 2006, The Legal 500 named Maxim and Vassily Rudomino “the firm's ‘extremely impressive' founding partners” who “are held in extremely high regard by their clients as well as by Western law firms that regularly refer work to them.”

In 2005-06 Maxim was a member of International Tax Planning Association (ITPA) and an active participant of international conferences and workshops organized by ITPA.

Maxim is the member of the Board of Directors of Bookberry, a Russian chain of book shops. He regularly presides over workshops for foreign businessmen as well.
